Our Journey
Collegiate Dynasty began with a basic objective: cultivate the college aspirations of kids in our communities by telling the compelling stories of real college students. Student athletes are some of the most talented and impressive young people from our communities, but they are also regular people just like you.
We love collecting cards and we love college sports, so the foundation of Collegiate Dynasty is our unique college sports trading card game (TCG). But we also bring content to life on our Youtube, Instagram, and Twitter channels so that you can get to know student athletes better.
In a new era of college sports, we are a company
built by educators to serve students and communities
Our communities matter. We believe college sports, the trading card hobby, and sports media are ready to embrace that truth.
A Fair Share for Student Athletes
There are some big NIL (name, image, and likeness) numbers out there these days, but most student athletes are not making millions in NIL money.
That's why Collegiate Dynasty is committed to bringing fair and equitable NIL opportunities to student athletes across a wide range of sports and institutions.
Every Collegiate Dynasty student is paid an equal portion of 50% of revenue from the set they appear in, and students are paid extra to participate in promotional activity. In short, when you buy cards, students get paid!
Giving Back to Our Communities
We're helping local card shops, college athletic departments, and event organizers welcome and celebrate younger fans through our It takes a village initiative, celebrating local student athletes with live appearances, special events, and exclusive local products.
We also partner with youth sports organizations, nonprofits, and local programs to provide free card decks to kids in communities like the ones we come from and represent--where college is always a dream but not always a reality. 25% of the starter decks we print are designated for these giveaways.
Creating Opportunities
Collegiate Dynasty was founded by two college educators and three college students, with everyone owning an equal percentage of the company.
We care about providing opportunities for college students to demonstrate their talents and build their resumes, so the content that you see does not just feature college student athletes, but also college student journalists and photographers!
As a 100% minority-owned company, we are proud to feature the work of artists and designers of color and of Black artists and designers in particular.
Collegiate Dynasty is a great opportunity to have fans almost have a piece of a player with them that they can aspire to be like. Having that connection between fan and player is so important. It helps view us as more than just a player--but as a human being. We don't have to solely identify as purely an athlete when we have people who care about our interests.
